Can I walk to downtown Port-en-Bessin from the campsite?
Camping de la Prairie is 300m from the town center, so you can get to downtown Port-en-Bessin in just a few minutes. We’re also just 500m from the seafront and 8km by bike, bus or car from a beach with supervised swimming.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome in all our accommodation: mobile homes and pitches. However, pets must be kept on a leash on the campsite premises and are subject to a supplement.
Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed.
How do I make a reservation and what methods of payment are accepted?
Online booking is preferred. Several methods of payment are accepted: carte-bleue, chèque vacances classic and e-ancv, cheque, bank transfer. Campsites can be booked directly on site, subject to availability.
What types of accommodation are available at our campsite?
We offer 3 types of accommodation: rental of mobile homes,camping pitches andbicycle accommodation (camping pitches for hikers and cyclists).
We also have resident plots where you can set up your own mobile home.
Is it possible to pay for my stay on arrival at the campsite?
Reservations require a deposit. Reservations are strongly recommended for pitches and compulsory for mobile homes. If you wish to stay on a pitch, you can come without a reservation and we will welcome you subject to availability.
Can I pay for my stay in instalments?
Payment of the reservation is made in 2 instalments at Camping de la Prairie. Initially, you will be asked to pay a deposit online, then the balance on arrival.
Without a reservation, full payment will be required on arrival at the campsite.
Are you a Vacaf member?
Our campsite is not Vacaf approved.
Can you choose your pitch or mobile home?
Depending on the constraints of the campsite and how busy it is, it is sometimes possible to choose the location of your accommodation on our site.
What are the departure and arrival times at the campsite?
Arrivals at our campsite are from 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm.
Rentals depart between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Campsites must be vacated by noon.
How do I connect to the campsite wifi?
Free wifi is available for all mobile homes, and wifi is available for camping pitches at a charge .
Do you supply baby equipment?
We can lend you a cot free of charge, subject to availability. Please let us know your requirements in advance when you book , so that we can reserve the cot for you. Our mobile homes can easily accommodate a cot in the large dressing room.
What activities are available on or near the campsite?
Our campsite is deliberately designed to be free of activities and entertainment. The campsite has a playground for children. But you can still take advantage of the activities organized by the town, which are within easy walking distance thanks to our privileged location in the heart of the village.
