It was here that Canadian troops landed, facing down formidable enemy defenses to pave the way for the liberation of Europe. <\/p><p    >Today, Juno Beach is much more than a historic beach: it&#8217;s a living place of remembrance. On the seafront, the <strong>Juno Beach Centre<\/strong> is the only Canadian museum dedicated to the Normandy Landings. Through moving exhibits, eyewitness accounts and immersive tours, it brings history to life with sensitivity and modernity.  <\/p><p    >The beach, long and bright, offers a splendid setting for strolling, meditating or simply enjoying the fresh sea air. Commemorative monuments, restored bunkers and steles pay tribute to these young soldiers from across the Atlantic.
