Our comfort pitches have an average surface area of 80m², with pitch sizes ranging from 70m² to 100m². This means you’ll have plenty of room for your tent, caravan or even motorhome.

During your stay in a comfort pitch at our campsite in Calvados, you can take advantage of your large pitch to eat outside or have fun with friends and family.

Each comfort package pitch is equipped with a 10A power socket, allowing you to return to the basics of camping and fully immerse yourself in the natural environment. A pet-friendly campsiteInCalvados

Pets are welcome at our seaside campsite, whether you’re staying on a pitch or in a mobile home. 1st and 2nd category dogs are not allowed, but are subject to a supplement at the time of booking, and must be kept on a leash at the campsite. So, whether you’re in a tent, camper van or van, your 4-legged friend will be able to accompany you.

Located in Port-en-Bessin-Huppain, a charming fishing port typical of the Calvados region, our campsite enjoys a privileged seaside location. Here, sea air invigorates, wind-sculpted cliffs shape the horizon and beaches steeped in history invite discovery. Calvados is an ideal destination for lovers of nature, history and gastronomy.

When you stay with us, you’ll enjoy quick access to the D-Day beaches, including the famous Omaha Beach, a place of remembrance, as well ascoastal paths offering spectacular views of the English Channel. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy strolling along the cliffs, while water sports fans can try their hand at sailing, paddling or sea fishing.

Our campsite is just a few minutes’ walk from the town center, the seafront and a supermarket, and 8km from a sandy beach with supervised swimming.

Staying at Camping de la Prairie also means discovering the treasures of Normandy. Just a few kilometers away, the town of Bayeux invites you to discover its historic center and famous tapestry. Further east, Arromanches-les-Bains recalls the great pages of history with the remains of the artificial D-Day port.

Caen captivates with its rich heritage and dynamism. Founded by William the Conqueror in the XIᵉ century, the city has preserved some remarkable monuments, including the Château de Caen and the two Romanesque abbeys, Abbaye aux Hommes and Abbaye aux Dames. Today, Caen combines history and modernity with its universities, museums (including the unmissable Mémorial de Caen) and lively neighborhoods.
